Can’t Activate Windows 7 Despite Owning Legit Key

I’ve been using windows 7 for years and it works great. I recently had to put a larger hard drive in my computer and installed a new copy of Windows 7 on it. I just got an alert saying the key for windows 7 is invalid which is bullshit. I bought and paid for the product (Windows 7) so there should be NO expiration date. I should be use it until I die. I don’t give a shit if Microsoft doesn’t provide updates or support. I think there should be a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST MICROSOFT to compel them to validate purchased software, regardless of when it was purchased.
