Unified Health Open Immediately Letters with 877-240-8910
During the past 2 year’s I’ve received numerous unsolicited, unauthorized letters which say “Open Immediately”. The letters only have phone number 877-240-8910, with no company name or address.
When called, they identify as “Unified Health”. I’ve called them several times, told them to STOP sending theses annoying letters but they keep coming.
They’ve got a lot of nerve… sending nondescript letters with no company identification, demanding people “Open Immediately” and call an 800 number.
BBB has complaints from other people about “Unified Health’s” “Open Immediately” unsolicited letters.
I’m on the Directmail.com National Do Not Mail List, so “Unified Health’s” unsolicited, unauthorized letters are violating my request to be left alone. I regard them as harassment and an invasion of my privacy.
It seems pretty shady and underhanded that this “company” is sending these letters without a company name or address. If they had any integrity, they would first check Directmail.com’s list, AND state their name & mailing address on the outside and inside of their letters.
I’m fed up with Unified Health’s letters and am taking action.
For starters… I’m filing complaints to the Florida Attorney General, the United States Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection, the Florida Department of Elder Affairs and other places with copies of the letters.
I’m also contacting Medicare and sending them copies of the letters. I’m asking them how / why my personal info is being shared & obtained by outside companies like “Unified Health”. I’m asking the Florida Attorney General and United States Federal Trade Commission the same question. This seems like a privacy violation and misuse of my personal information.
1-30-2023 UPDATE:
Despite calls and promises from Unified Health saying they took me off their list, I received the above card in the mail today.
I called the number on the card immediately after receiving it and asked them what’s the name of their company. The guy who answered said Unified Health and he said the company is based in Utah. I asked him where & how they got my personal info, he said he had no way of knowing.
A google search indicated this is their office address and phone number:
I called the above phone number and told the guy who answered I wanted to know how they got my personal info. He also said he had no way of knowing. I told him to take my name off their list and if I received one more card or letter from them, I’ll begin contacting attorneys.
If you’ve had a similar problem, you can file complaints to the Florida Attorney General’s office, Federal Trade Commission and other places like I am. If enough people files complaints, these government agencies might make Unified Health STOP sending their intrusive, unsolicited letters. Here’s a few of their addresses;
