ReverbNation.com New V2 Platform SUCKS!

I just went to log into ReverbNation.com and was shocked to find that the entire layout has completely changed to the point it’s unusable and totally SUCKS.  It also appears they’ve gotten GREEDY for more cash and placed a limit on the number of songs which can be uploaded for free

If you agree, send messages to ReverbNation customer service telling them how much you dislike the new Website, how it’s a huge step backwards and demand they implement a way to disable the new platform and revert back to the classic version permanently or BOYCOTT and leave their platform.  Without us artists, they have NOTHING.

Like they say… if it isn’t broken… DON’T FIX IT!

WHAT WAS THE OWNERS OF REVERBNATION THINKING!?

As stated in the above Google AI summery: ReverbNation’s new V2 platform update, rolled out in August 2026, has frustrated users by removing core features like artist rankings and cover profile pictures, restricting post-upload song editing, and causing widespread complaints over missing long-term user data and poor customer support.

I’m not the only one who hates it… there’s posts all over the internet from people expressing how much they hate it.

As stated in the above article …

“Payment Processing Delays”

“Payment withdrawal operations demonstrate substantial dysfunction across documented cases. The platform holds digital distribution royalties for 35 days and eCommerce sales for 60 days before funds become available for withdrawal. Multiple users report delays extending months beyond these windows, with funds showing as available but withdrawals failing to process.

One seven-year customer described complete account lockout:

“After being a customer of their digital distribution for over 7 years, they have just taken down every song I’ve ever uploaded, as well as my musician profile from every streaming platform. My account has been locked, with no explanation, no heads up. My music AND the royalties I had earned have been taken hostage by this company.”

PayPal integration issues create additional complications. Artists report transactions marked “completed” in ReverbNation’s system while funds never reach recipient accounts. One case involved a $850 payout sent to an incorrect bank account, with the platform unable to provide transfer receipts despite claiming successful processing. International users face currency conversion errors and requests for U.S.-specific tax documentation regardless of residency.

Analysis of 50+ payment delay incidents shows minimum delays of 14 days, maximum delays exceeding five months, and median delays of 45-60 days. Approximately 73% of delayed withdrawals remain unresolved after 30 days. Withheld amounts range from $150 to over $1,300 across documented cases spanning September 2020 through September 2023. Account Termination Patterns

Account suspensions occur without transparent criteria or accessible appeals processes. The platform sends standardized notifications citing “security purposes,” “suspicious streaming activity,” or “risk-related reasons” without specific violation details. Artists with years of active service and established sales histories report sudden access revocation during routine operations.

One seller with 80+ five-star ratings encountered mid-transaction suspension:

“I sold a guitar, packed it up, and went to print the shipping label, only to find my account suspended. I never received any email about this.”

Suspension appeal mechanisms route users to automated systems that terminate conversations upon detecting suspended status. Email support generates auto-close responses without human review. The platform prevents account deletion while suspended, creating situations where users cannot close accounts to retrieve accumulated funds.

Documentation of 34 suspension cases shows only 3 successful reinstatements, averaging 18 days to resolution. The remaining 91% of suspended users report permanent loss of access, catalog, and royalties. Artists attempting to understand suspension reasons encounter chatbots redirecting to Terms of Service pages rather than specific violation explanations. (Trustpilot, Reddit, YouTube, 2023-2024)

Customer Support Response

Support infrastructure operates primarily through automated systems with minimal human intervention. Response time analysis across 40+ documented interactions shows first response times of 14-30 days when responses occur, with 87% of interactions receiving bot-only responses and 3% achieving human escalation.

Chat representatives provide generic FAQ responses and disconnect when users present complex inquiries. One user described the pattern:

“The people I chatted with were basically just repeating blurbs from their customer service FAQ at me until I left them alone.”

Email support generates escalation tickets that auto-close after 24-48 hours without human review, creating loops where artists submit repeated requests while receiving identical automated replies. Phone support remains unavailable, with all contact channels routing through chat or email systems. Users attempting to resolve payment disputes, account suspensions, or distribution errors report 30+ day delays for any substantive response.

The platform discontinued email support responsiveness for premium members who previously received prioritized assistance. Long-term subscribers report support quality degradation following the 2021 BandLab acquisition, with staff reductions in customer service departments. (Trustpilot, Reddit, BBB, 2022-2024)”
