Dolly Parton Unfit for Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Dolly Parton was right when she initially declined being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame because she’s NOT a rock artist. She’s never recorded or performed Rock Music and is unfit to be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Harry Belafonte (who’s listed in the 2022 induction) isn’t a rock artist either and has never recorded rock music.
The fact the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is including people who aren’t rock artist proves there’s no actual qualifications which are adhered to, no bar is too low, being included has no honor and means NOTHING. It also shows how stupid and ignorant those are who vote for artists to be included into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Also, Dolly Parton has a HORRIBLE quivery country voice and is one of the worst “singers” in music, (like Johnny Cash who was more of a talker than a singer). None of her songs were outstanding. The only song I can think of is “9 to 5” which is a stupid, abrasive song which makes a lot of people make a mad dash to change stations if it’s played.
Dolly Parton is one of those people who’s “famous for being famous”, which is likely how she managed being part owner of Dollywood.
Dolly Parton seems like a nice person, but a Rock Artist, Great Musician or Great Vocalist, she is not.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Sucks!
The Beastie Boys and Laura Nyro are in, but Chicago and KISS are out?! No way, writes journalist/musician Jamie Reno.
Per the above article: “The way I see it, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame voting committee is a cabal that too often honors performers who are edgy, brainy, pretentious, or sometimes not even “rock” at all. Petitions with tens of thousands of signatures and websites urging the RRHOF committee to consider this or that artist are routinely ignored. Just Google “rock and roll hall of fame sucks” and you’ll find petitions like this: “The Hall of Fame was founded to recognize outstanding achievements and contributions to the world of rock music”.
“There’s something very wrong with a world in which Laura Nyro is enshrined, but KISS is once again overlooked. “The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has become a joke,” KISS’s Gene Simmons recently told Rolling Stone magazine, whose editor/publisher Jann Wenner co-founded the RRHOF nearly 30 years ago. “We’ve been thinking about it and the answer is simply, ‘We’ll just buy it and fire everybody.’” To which Simmons’ bandmate Paul Stanley added, “With all due respect, when you get to Patti Smith you’re about two steps away from Pete Seeger.”
“Gene and Paul, you guys rock. I couldn’t agree more: the criteria for induction into the Hall of Fame are fuzzy at best. Entire musical genres have been slighted—from progressive rock to metal to ‘60’s and ‘70s Top 40—while artists in several non-rock genres including rap, blues, disco, folk, jazz and country manage to find their way in. Huh? The only stated prerequisites are that the artist must have had some impact and released a record at least 25 years ago”.
“In reality, the choices seem to be largely just a reflection of the personal tastes of Wenner and his minions. Back in 2007, the Monkees’ Peter Tork told the New York Post that Wenner “doesn’t care what the rules are and just operates how he sees fit. It is an abuse of power. I don’t know whether The Monkees belong in the Hall of Fame, but it’s pretty clear that we’re not in there because of a personal whim.”

Marion Theatre Balcony Seating Is The WORST
For several years I had been wanting to take my son (who is now 14) to see a Movie in a old Movie Theater. He wanted to see Ready Player One so it seemed liked the perfect opportunity to take him to the Marion Theater which advertised it would be showing there. He said he preferred to go to Ocala Centre 6 or Regal Cinemas where they had 3D, but I convinced him to go to the Marion Theater at the 4:30 pm show on April 4, 2018.
After I paid for the tickets, the attendant told us to go upstairs to the balcony. I was like… huh?… because that was not what I was expecting. I also bought a drink and popcorn for about $9.
When we got to the top of the stairs and went through the curtains we were shocked to see that they divided up the theater into 2 parts. They put a wall up in the balcony, put a screen on it and a separate projector. I had never seen a movie theater divided up like this and didn’t know such things existed.
The look of the place made you feel like you were in a warehouse and was MOST unpleasant. We sat in the back row which was way too close to the screen for our liking. The seats were the most uncomfortable I think I’ve ever sat in. We debated leaving after we were setting there for a few minutes but decided to stick it out since we already paid… and there was a notice which said no refunds… and the movie had already started showing at the Ocala Centre 6.
For most people who would choose to go to the Marion Theatre, it’s about the experience of getting to see a movie in an old theater. There’s a night and day difference and no comparison between seeing the movie in the balcony and the main auditorium. Seeing a movie in the balcony is like not being at the Marion Theatre at all.
I feel the staff should told us before selling us the tickets that the theater had been divided up and the movie would be showing in the balcony, NOT the main theater. They should have let us see what the balcony was like so we could decide if we want to see it there.
I was and am VERY disappointed and feel terrible about talking my son into going to Marion Theatre. The reason we went there was so my son could get to see his movie in a grand old movie theater.
I will NEVER go there again to see another movie in the balcony.
The way they have divided the theater up, I feel it has been ruined. I think they should get some of their money back by selling the projector in the balcony, take the wall & screen down and restore the theater back to how it was originally.
To increase their revenue, I think they should have a classic movie night and show a classic old movie once a week. They could advertise on classic rock and oldies stations.

Chawla Escort Service
After locating Chawla’s Escort Service online back in 2009, I decided to try them again this year, as the employee I “spent time with” last time was prompt & professional.
Apparently Chawla Escorts is having some difficulty finding adequate staff these days, because the girl that showed up at my room at the Renaissance was approximately 5’6 tall but easily 180lbs
Upon her arrival I contacted Mr. Chawla stating that my specifications were White or Asian and have a body type of “trim” or “athletic”. He explained that a different girl would be dispatched immediately for arrival within 1 hour; however no female ever arrived or called.
Two weeks later I noticed a $275 line-item stated as PDM Health on my charge card, which turns out to be the name used for Chawla’s credit card billing purposes. I have since discussed removal of the charge with both of his associates: Eileen Jurca and Ash Gupta. Thus far, (now 4 weeks later) I have not received the credit to the account!

Chawla Escort Services
Chawla’s PDM Escort Service, which offers companionship from Indian ladies to formal parties, dances and (in my case) 20th High School Class Reunions is a very deceitful organization. I spoke with Ash Chawla and reserved my escort to the North Royalton 20 year reunion and paid over the phone with a credit card via Irene Jurca, his secretary at 440-871-1721. The escort was scheduled to arrive at 6:30 PM and as of 8:00 she had not done so. When I contacted Ms. Jurca again at 8:15 she responded saying that the reservation had never been confirmed!
3 MONTHS LATER MY CREDIT CARD HAS STILL NOT BEEN CREDITED FOR THE $350 THAT I WAS CHARGED. I would advise anyone using PDM’s Escort Service in Westlake, OH to tread very lightly before surrendering your credit card
