Complaints about Unsolicited Letters from Meridian Trust
Meridian Trust has been sending unsolicited letters to home owners who’s homes are NOT for sale, then continuing to send them after home owners demand they stop.
I’m on the Directmail.com National Do Not Mail List.
I have personally received several of these letters from Meridian Trust which I consider to be HARASSMENT and an invasion of my privacy. Here’s a recent copy…
I returned one of their letters with a note inside demanding they stop. I received another letter so I filed a complaint to the BBB which they ignored. I also left a message on their voice mail removal line and filled out their removal form at meridiantrust.com/tol demanding they remove my name & address. Note the extra small print of the removal link at the bottom of their letter.
Despite my demands to be left alone, they sent yet another letter.
Meridian Trust doesn’t deserve a A+ rating!
The BBB has a history of “Pay to Play” and giving business undeserved ratings as shown in the above video.
Here’s some complaints from other people about Meridian Trust.
If you’ve had a similar problem, you can also file complaints to the Florida Attorney General’s office and the Federal Trade Commission. Here’s their addresses;
Office of Attorney General
State of Florida
The Capitol PL-01
Tallahassee, FL 32399-1050
FTC Headquarters
600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20580
If enough people files complaints, the Florida Attorney General’s office and the Federal Trade Commission might make Meridian Trust STOP sending their intrusive, unsolicited letters.
People have a RIGHT to be left alone and live in peace.
